Apartment Nursery
Okay, living in Orange County is expensive! Garrett and I currently rent a one bedroom + den and even that is not cheap. We do live in a beautiful complex. I absolutely love it!
As we started talking about having a baby, we discussed how we would work it out with a nursery and all the baby gear. Our den would be the ideal nursery, but it’s currently set up as Garrett’s man cave. It’s got two TV’s, a big sectional, cool coffee table, mini fridge, bar cart and a stand up desk. Even though it’s the “man cave”, this room is where Garrett and I spend ALL of our time when we are home. That’s where we eat dinner, watch Game of Thrones, play video games, and hang out. I didn’t want to take that space away. We have lots of furniture in there that would be tough to store if we turned it into a nursery.
Lyla doesn’t need a full room, especially as a newborn. We decided to leave the man cave just as it is and use part of our living room as a nursery. She will be sleeping in a bassinet next to our bed for the first few months anyway.
I wanted to give you a peak of what we did with the little space that we do have! Find some pictures of our baby items and where we got them below!
