Baby Products

Here it is! All the baby products we have gotten to try out with Lyla! I am become a bit obsessed with baby tech and anything that could make our lives easier. Below you’ll find links to each products, photos, short reviews, and places other than their main site where that product could be purchased! Enjoy!

SNOO by Happiest Baby

public.jpeg

The SNOO is our #1 baby product. Before Lyla was born we briefly talked about how crazy expensive this baby bassinet was. We had bought a cheap simple bassinet on our bedside. Once Lyla was here and we were passed the first two weeks, Garrett himself went online and rented the SNOO. It arrived a few days later and we LOVE it! Lyla started sleeping through the night at 6 weeks! The bassinet plays white noise and rocks baby all night. If it hears baby start to cry, it increases the sound and motion and puts baby back to sleep! It’s basically like a night nurse. When you’re desperate for sleep you’ll pay almost anything. Thankfully, their rental program isn’t awful. They do have sales through out the year that bring the price down quite a bit. We rented from Happiest Baby for about 2 months. I ended up finding one for purchase on Facebook Marketplace for $550 and went for it! We will definitely use it for anymore babies we might have so it ends up being cheaper to buy. As of right now, this is the only color combo they sell. Only sold on the Happiest Baby website or you can purchase used on Facebook Marketplace.

Hatch Baby Grow Changing Pad Scale

public.jpeg

We didn’t purchase the Hatch Baby scale before Lyla was born, but I wish we had. She was born at 5 lbs 9oz and lost weight getting into the 4 lbs range. It was scary and having a scale to weigh her everyday to check for weight loss or gain would have been so nice! I love this changing pad. It can connect to your phone via bluetooth, track all weigh ins, and is super easy to clean. If you’re breastfeeding you can even weigh baby before and after a feeding to see how much they are eating. I do usually keep a blanket it on because it’s sometimes to cold if Lyla doesn’t have clothes on. Comes in white or dark grey. Also sold at Target, Amazon, and Buy Buy Baby.

Hatch Baby Rest+

public.jpeg

Another product I love is the new Hatch Baby Rest+. This is a nightlight, sound machine, alarm clock, audio monitor, does not have to be plugged in, can be controlled from anywhere, and can be used with Alexa! It does it all. I love to use the sound machine, you can set favorites between noises and light colors. I think I’ll use it more and more as Lyla gets older. For now, I use the nightlight and sound machine for naps. I only am able to find this on the Hatch Baby site.

Fridababy Humidifier

public.jpeg

I love all things Fridababy! I actually bought this while I was still pregnant and got a cold. I had tons of bloody noses and just needed more humidity in the room. I figured I could use it for Lyla once she was born and I have! You can use this an a cool mist humidifier, diffuser, or night light! Also sold at Target, Amazon, and Buy Buy Baby.

NoseFrida Snot Sucker

BDF48C29-56C4-45DB-82AC-BB233D24F58A.JPG

Some parents think this is super gross. I don’t mind it. There’s a filter that will never allow any baby snot to get into your mouth. This was a lifesaver and works way better than the bulbs. I have 3 of them! Also sold at Target, Amazon, and Buy Buy Baby.

Fridababy Windi The Gaspasser

6D0F2FC2-DE8B-40AE-8F0D-F17C184716C5.JPG

These work wonders. At the beginning Lyla had a hard time with passing gas and being a little backed up. Again, it might be gross or you might feel like you’re hurting the baby. You’re not. You’re actually helping a ton! I would try to use them at night before bed! Also sold at Target, Amazon, and Buy Buy Baby.

Fridababy Thermometer

public.jpeg

I didn’t think this was needed, but I absolutely love it. I don’t use it all the time, but if I ever think Lyla is running a fever I am able to stick it underneath her arm with the adhesive sticker, the thermometer connects to my phone, and tracks her temperature until I take it off. If there’s too high of a temperature it’ll let me know immediately. There is no need to wake baby up for a temperature check. Also sold on Amazon.

Fridababy Saline Snot Spray

5E2A5FF7-88EE-4A6B-B183-75434B70764E.JPG

This is something I use almost everyday! Lyla has struggled with congestion since the day she was born (never where it was an actual issue), but her nose always sounds stuffy. I love this spray because it’s so much easier to put in her nose than the drops. I would usually use a few sprays in each nostril, wait about 10 minutes, then use the snot sucker. I’ve only seen this available on the Fridababy website and on Amazon.

Owlet Camera

8BC2C020-78F3-4180-A93B-914CB1724537.JPG

I love the owlet camera. We purchased this as a set with the owlet sock monitor. Some of the camera’s features include night vision, background audio (your phone could be clicked off or using other apps, but the noise will stay on), two way audio, wide lens, and a room temperature sensor. As you can see I have ours set up in an upper corner of Lyla’s nursery. I am able to see the entire room, not just the crib. Also sold at Target, Amazon, and Buy Buy Baby. The Owlet camera and sock qualify for FSA/HSA.

Owlet Sock

DEE0B3A7-4406-4CCD-A0A7-C86D7630FF52.JPG

I love the idea of the owlet sock. I had a hard time connecting it to the app once I had connected the camera (it was super easy to connect once I talked to their support team) so I just avoided it for a while. Lyla slept in the living room next to our room for months and we could hear any crying. We just recently moved her to her bedroom which is farther down our home. I love to use the sock now because I can make sure her heart rate and oxygen levels are good! The base station goes on your nightstand where it’ll alarms if there are any levels that are out of range. Just an extra sense of peace. I will say it sometimes starts ringing if it can’t get a good reading. Those could be a bit annoying, but at the same time it does one day ring because of low or high heart rate or oxygen levels I’m sure we will be extra thankful! The sock comes with 3 different sizes up to 25 lbs. Also sold at Target, Amazon, and Buy Buy Baby. The Owlet camera and sock qualify for FSA/HSA.

Marpac Hushh White Noise Sound Machine

11535C38-E1DD-4974-94F8-0457C7286FA5.JPG

I love this portable sound machine! It’s so loud for it’s size. I bring it with us when we travel. It can clip on to anything, I have started to use it in the car sometimes. The battery lasts at least 3 full nights which is crazy! Also sold on amazon.

4moms MamaRoo Swing 4

9986C0EC-E4F9-4660-98AD-D82FC4C354EA.JPG

I wanted to get this so bad before Lyla was born, but we decided to wait to see if she enjoyed that type of movement. Turns out she loved it. I went on a search through Facebook marketplace and found a few options, that same day I went to target and found one on sale because someone purchased and never picked it up. It was meant be! Lyla absolutely loves the mamaroo. Lyla thinks the little colorful mobile is her friend and she could talk (babble) to it all day! The one pictured is their latest model. They have tons of color and fabric options. Also sold at Target, Amazon, and Buy Buy Baby.

Angel Care Bath Support

A1CE8828-C8AC-418E-A895-3FB5EBF98E10.JPG

We were given a different bath tub option as a gift, one we had picked out for our registry. Once Lyla was here, she hated bath time. I tried it all. I was at a little resale baby boutique (lil’ posh resale, check it out if you’re in Orange County, CA, they have everything posted on instagram!) and I saw this Angel Care bath seat. It was a couple bucks and it has been great! She loves bath time and I like that I can leave it in the tub and it dries itself. Comes in grey, pink, and blue. Also sold at Target, Amazon, and Buy Buy Baby.As I was writing this, I realized they also have a bath booster for ages 7-12 months once they can sit on their own! We will definitely be trying that!

Ubbi Portable Diaper Storage Organizer Caddy

76FBFAA5-1D92-4DBA-B4B1-9A2E47DA7122.JPG

I love this diaper caddy for a home. I didn’t really find a use for it when we were living in an apartment, but now I keep this in the entertainment center in the living room so I don’t have to walk over to her nursery for every diaper change. It’s got enough room for at least 25 diapers, about a pack and a half of wipes, a great changing pad, and a little drawer (great for diaper rash cream and extra pacifiers). We purchased the bundle that comes with the changing pad and wipes dispenser. Comes in white and grey or white and pink. Also sold on Amazon and Buy Buy Baby.

Baby Breeza Formula Mixing Pitcher

A2E6B6B0-550D-4F08-9B6C-87D7372D730F.JPG

From before Lyla was born I was expecting to her to be formula fed. But yet, didn’t do research on formulas or ways to mix it. I came across the Baby Breeza Formula Pro several times, but thought it might be a bit much. I realized they have an automated mixing pitcher. You can make a full day’s worth of formula in one pitcher, keep it in the fridge, and put it in bottles when it’s needed! No bubbles and no hassle. It uses 3 AA batteries and sometimes I just forget about it. I would leave it on for a while, but I didn’t mind because it meant the formula was mixed extra well! I used the pitcher a lot and even travel with it. But I did move on…(see below). Also sold on Amazon and Buy Buy Baby.

Baby Breeza Formula Pro Advanced

FB0A1EEE-CCF2-4DD9-BFCE-FCAA5079F12B 2.JPG

I finally gave in. I wondered about the Baby Breeza Formula Pro Advanced since before Lyla was born. I read reviews about how the cleaning and maintenance did not make it worth it. It was expensive, but my baby tech mind still wonder about it. I found someone on Facebook Marketplace selling one for $75! It was only a few months old. We went for it! We figured we could try it for $75. I picked it up and haven’t looked back. I absolutely love this thing. It’s amazing for formula fed babies. Lyla is currently on Similac Pro-Sensitive which is usually a little harder to mix than the pro-advanced formula. It makes a bottles in seconds. It has 3 different temperature levels and you can make a bottle from 2 to 10 ounces in 1 ounce increments! At first, I was worried about it not dispensing the correct amount of formula, but if you test it by mixing one by hand it looks and tastes exact the same. The cleaning and maintenance is not bad AT ALL! You just wash down and wipe off the funnel once a day and you are just fine. You are washing bottles anyway! Also sold on Amazon, Target, and Buy Buy Baby.

Munchkin Bottle Drying Rack

3227B9D8-5732-483A-9AA1-83CC1E618A52.JPG

I never thought I needed a bottle drying rack. My best friend’s mom had this same one for us when we visiting them when Lyla was about a month old. I loved it! Once I got home I ordered one. It fits bout 5 bottles with all the pieces. It also fold down all the way flat. I don’t need anything else. You can buy this at Target, Amazon, and Buy Buy Baby.

BIBS pacifiers

DCBAE11D-5483-4D9A-B3DF-E8DFCD72B804.JPG

I love these pacifiers. They are so cute and I love all the colors they come. I tried all types of pacifiers once Lyla arrived and she loved all of them. She didn’t have a preference at all. I liked the look of these the most so I stuck with them. Also sold on Amazon.

Doc - A - Tot

4CDD378D-5B65-4F91-97CF-826F4E9CB4BF.JPG

I knew we were going to need some type of lounger for Lyla especially in those first few days. We decided on the Doc-A-Tot. I’m really glad we had it for the early days. She slept in that every night for about a month! Yes, I know they aren’t suppose to sleep in them at night, but wherever you can get baby to sleep that’s what you do! She is almost 5 months now and I use it when I’m cooking for her to lay on the kitchen island. It’s almost time to put the Doc-A-Tot away, she’s almost outgrown it. Also sold on Amazon, Target, and Buy Buy Baby.

Babyletto Hudson Crib

public.jpeg

I knew pretty early on I wanted the all white Hudson crib from Babyletto. I loved the look and design. They are known to be safe and secure. Lyla has only used it for naps, but it seems great. I love the way it looks in her nursery. Also sold on Amazon, Target, and Buy Buy Baby.

Nested Bean Zen Sleep Sack

4B307485-EFC0-4012-A7A4-E83BEC0BFD46.JPG

Nested Bean I found on instagram. I love the design. I love the fabric. And I love the bean on the chest that is suppose to simulate a hand on the chest. We have only used this sleep sack for naps and Lyla loves it. Also sold on Amazon.

Nested Bean Zen Footie PJ

9E3BB440-18F0-406B-BE44-2BB04AF6E029.JPG

When we purchased the Nested Bean sleep sack, we also purchased the pajama footie. I liked the idea of using this underneath the SNOO bassinet swaddle. It works great! She’s almost grown out of the 3-6 month size, it does shrink quite a bit in the wash. Also sold on Amazon.

Baby Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit

11109264-2321-43A4-8695-C38DF6CB0A81.JPG

I was super curious of the Baby Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit. I found someone on Facebook marketplace selling a brand new one for about $15. We went for it just to try it. It’s been one of our favorite purchases. Lyla falls asleep in it almost immediately. It’s a cotton suit to help transition baby after they can’t be swaddled anymore because of rolling. She hasn’t started to roll yet, but she loves it! I use it for naps now and she will sleep for 2 hours in her crib. I use only a diaper underneath because I feel like she would get too warm otherwise. Also sold on Amazon and Target.

Munchkin Step Diaper Pail

A570D9ED-6F83-4233-97CF-9B4721046D33.JPG

We decided on this diaper pail for our registry and we never looked back. We received it at one of our baby shower’s and it’s been great. I love the clean white look. We have never had an issue with smell. The bags are easy to remove and put on. Underneath the lid you can add an arm&hammer scent refresher. Works great! We use this everyday! Also sold on Amazon, Target, and Buy Buy Baby.
